Greg Harrell has been an excellent leader for the Hood County GOP Party and is now serving at the state level for SD 22 on the Executive Committee.
He is seeking reelection.
During the 89 th legislature, he was in Austin sounding the alarm on BESS (Battery Electric Storage Systems) construction.He questioned the safety of lithium batteries and was talking about a moratorium until the new sodium batteries which are less costly and safer were in use. He supported legislation for setbacks for BESS from structures. He definitely opposed the placement of the Apache Hill BESS behind the preschool on the Mambrino Hwy.
His is opposed to DATA CENTERS blanketing our state and especially the data centers being proposed for Hood County.
He supports freedom of speech and during club meetings welcomes all Republican candidates and local leaders to share their visions and knowledge. He wants a voice for all citizens of Hood County to be heard by our City and County leaders. He is measured, well spoken, calm and principled. The Lord is his guide. I support him and I encourage you to support him on the ballot on March 3.
